Heritage Open Day

Free admission at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse
Sunday 9 September, 10am to 5pm

Explore the site for free as part of this national celebration of our heritage with a chance to see the amazing objects we have behind the scenes and speak to the people who preserve and record Norfolk’s history.See www.museums.norfolk.gov.uk/gressenhall for more information.

Wednesday evening, 6.30pm-7.30pm

Friday morning, 10am-11am

Friday afternoon Chair Yoga, 1pm-2pm

 Classes are small and supportive and encourage participants to work at their own pace.

The Friday afternoon chair yoga class provides a gentle seated practice of postures, breath work and relaxation.

Doors open : 10.00 am with refreshments

10.30am talk and memories shared. Dennis O’Callahan will give a short talk on the 2nd battalion of the north norfolk regiment and his father’s escape at the massacre in le paradis. The royal british legion will present a certificate to meeting point.

11.45am – meeting point staff, volunteers & members singalong 1940’s style

12.15.pm – hog roast buffet, jelly & ice cream plus refreshments

1.30pm – 3.30pm kitty collins sings vintage style with afternoon tea dance

Two vehicles from the norfolk military vehicles group will be outside from 10am should you wish to have a photo take – a small donation please

this day is free but donation buckets will be at the entrance of meeting point.
