RECYCLING IN BEETLEY

The Parish Council has recently received from Breckland Council the recycling payment for the year to the end of March 2018. This year the payment was £1233.48. This amount is made up of £789.27 for the glass at The New Inn and £444.21 for the textiles at the Village Hall.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO RECYCLE YOUR GLASS AT THE NEW INN BOTTLE BANK, AND TEXTILES/ SHOES AT THE TEXTILE BANK AT THE VILLAGE HALL TO ENSURE THAT THESE FACILITIES REMAIN AND THE CASH COMES BACK TO BEETLEY PARISH AND NOT TO BRECKLAND COUNCIL. THESE RECYCLING BANKS MAY BE REMOVED IF NOT USED AS BRECKLAND COUNCIL IS CONSIDERING THE FUTURE OF ALL BANKS IN PARISHES.

WOODLAND, OPPOSITE THE NEW INN

The Parish Council would like to remind
all residents that the woodland that is accessed by the track from Fakenham Road opposite the New Inn is privately owned. It does not have a Public Right of Way through it. The landowner kindly allows this area to be walked but reserves the right to close this at any time during the year. This right to close has been exercised over many years. The Public Right of Way through the woodland is accessed from the footpath next to the school playing field and goes to High House Road.
