Staff at Norse’s Gressenhall office are planning a litter pick around the village on the morning ofFriday September 20 – and are inviting interested residents to join them. The initiative, known as the Norse Tidy Up, aims to get office workers out into their local community and is being mirrored at a dozen or so Norse locations around the country. Organiser Jessica Rollingson said the litter pick would take place from Norse’s office on Gressenhall Road, go around Beetley Meadows and then back down past the School between 10am and noon. She said: “As a company with a strong community focus, we thought it would be nice to ask if anyone in the village would like to join our Norse Tidy Up. Last year, we collected almost 200 bags of rubbish around the country and we are keen to improve on that this year if we can.” Norse will provide gloves and litter pickers but volunteers will be required to wear appropriate footwear and clothing which unfortunately cannot be provided. Please [email protected] if you would like to take part.
